In 1998, when most fitness meant treadmills and mirrors, one facility in Closter, NJ dared to put a meditation room next to the weight floor — and a Korean healer down the hall from the Zumba studio.

CGI started with a question most gyms never ask: what if fitness addressed the whole person — not just the body? In 1998, that idea was radical. Today, it's the reason members drive past a dozen gyms to get here.
Our 30,000 square-foot facility in Closter combines a chlorine-free ionized pool, Korean and European saunas, a full-service spa, and a dedicated healing center — all under one roof. But what makes CGI different isn't the amenities. It's the philosophy behind them.
